Worship

Worship service at Cornerstone Church at Huntsville is a time for our congregation to come together and express their devotion to God, learn from the teachings of scripture, and offer support to one another in their faith journey. We welcome you to come as you are, to a supportive church community to help you grow in your faith.

We believe in the power of God’s grace to transform lives, and we seek to share that grace with everyone who walks through our doors. We offer a variety of programs and opportunities for spiritual growth, including worship services, Bible studies, small groups, and service projects.

Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian for many years, we welcome you to join us on this journey. We invite you to come and see what God is doing in our community, and to discover how you can be a part of it. Let’s walk together, as we follow Jesus and seek to share His love with the world.

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 a.m.!

Our Mission

Helping people move closer to God through a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Core Principles

Becoming spiritually healthy through worship, devotion, and service to God.

Our Core Belief

The local church of Jesus Christ is the hope of the world.

Our Core Values

1. Worshiping together is an essential catalyst for spiritual transformation in the church, and for the individual. Acts 2:42-47.
2. We believe that spiritual growth accelerates through participation in small group ministries, and through personal, life-long devotion to God. Luke 6:12-16, and Ephesians 4:17-5:2.
3. Lost people who are far from God matter to God. Therefore, they should matter to the church. Matthew 18:10-14.
4. The church should be culturally relevant, yet Biblically sound. I Corinthians 9:19-23.
5. We fully accept that God’s grace is our salvation, and there is nothing we can do to earn it. Rather, we can only accept it, and then give it away as Christ has given to us. Ephesians 2:1-10.
6. Christ followers in the church should strive to be faithful stewards of their resources and gifts to the church. I Corinthians 12, and I Timothy 6:17-19.
7. Giving our best for God honors God, and inspires others. Colossians 3:15-17.
8. We believe in loving, healthy relationships throughout the church that honors God. I Corinthians 13.
9. The church should be led by those with the spiritual gifts for leadership. Romans 12:1-8.
10. Children and youth are part of the church now, and not just the future. Matthew 19:13-15.
11. We give ourselves permission to be misunderstood. Matthew 5:1-12.
12. As Christ followers we should strive to be in ministry to the under-resourced and disenfranchised. Matthew 25:31-40.
