Group prayer is powerful. The Lord himself said: “Where two or three are gathered in my name I am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).
When we pray together, we are united in purpose and heart before God. We are able to encourage and build each other up as we lift our requests and thanksgiving to Him. There is something special about praying with others that allows us to enter into a deeper level of intimacy with God as we are tapping into a power source that is far greater than ourselves. We are aligning our hearts and minds with God’s will and purposes. There is unity and strength that comes from praying together that can move mountains.
